Who is Tawakkol Karman
The first Arab to receive the Nobel Peace Prize
Journalist and writer activist and president of Women Journalists Without Chains , and before that was Adeeba and poet . It is one of the most prominent defenders of press freedom and women's rights and human rights in Yemen, the daughter of a Muslim Brotherhood leader and former Minister of Legal Affairs and member of the Yemeni Shura Council Abdul Salam Khaled Karman . In 2011 she won the Nobel Peace Prize . She is a member of the Shura Council ( the Central Committee ) party Islah , which represents the stream ( the Muslim Brotherhood in Yemen.
